Our 6 Learning Environments

The Eluma ecosystem brings together six distinct learning environments, combining classroom teaching, online flexibility, hands-on placements, and ongoing support to prepare learners for real careers in care and education

Eluma
Classroom

Conducted in Eluma’s centre, Eluma Classroom sessions bring learners together in person to acquire theoretical knowledge and take part in hands-on learning activities. These sessions strengthen learners' understanding of core concepts, encourage active participation, and create opportunities for direct interaction and discussion with lecturers and peers.

Eluma
Space

Eluma Space delivers lectures through an online platform, allowing learners to attend virtually and engage in learning activities from anywhere. This flexible format supports independent learning while still enabling learners to participate in live discussions and stay connected with their course community remotely.

Eluma
Skills

Eluma Skills is the placement component of the programme, giving learners the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a real care environment. Through direct, hands-on experience, learners build professionalism, adaptability, and the practical confidence needed to succeed in real care and education settings.

Eluma SDT
(Study Drop-In with Tutor)

Eluma SDT sessions provide learners with additional academic support through flexible drop-in consultations. Learners can seek guidance on unit clarification, assessments, and other academic matters, helping to strengthen their understanding and improve overall learning outcomes.

Eluma
Mastery Class

Held once per term, Eluma Mastery Class equips learners with practical classroom management tools and strategies to support effective teaching and learning practices. These sessions build learners' confidence, skill, and ability to apply effective strategies in real a real setting.

Eluma
Workshop

Eluma Workshop sessions deliver essential topics beyond the core syllabus, equipping learners with additional knowledge and skills to support their professional and academic development. Learners who complete these workshops receive a certificate of participation, further enhancing their employability and professional growth.
