Our Story

Our story began from the realisation that there is an unmet need for proper care of the young, old and the infirmed. Too often is caregiving in Malaysia left to untrained individuals or undervalued as a form of work. Eluma Education was borne out of the desire to do better – a vocational institute that can provide the proper training, elevate the care profession and give caregivers the recognition they deserve.

Meet Our Team

At the heart of Eluma Education is a passionate team of educators dedicated to shaping the next generation of caregivers. Our team brings an average of 15+ years of hands-on experience in early childhood education and elderly care, combining real-world insight with a genuine commitment to nurturing learner growth.

Aishah Iberahim

Centre Manager

With a background of 15 years in banking and compliance and 3 years in centre operations management, my experience encompasses regulatory compliance, operational excellence, team leadership and stakeholder engagement. I hold a Certificate in Management from Open University.

Ila Andy

Assessor (Early Years)

With 18+ years in education, I served as Co-Principal of an early childhood centre, specialising in curriculum development and professional training. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (University of Southern Queensland) and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (SEGi College).

Melissa Louis

Assessor (Early Years)

With 16+ years in teaching, curriculum design, and school leadership, I've worked with children from early years to primary, supporting others in their learning journeys. I hold a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (University of Southern Queensland) and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (SEGi College).

Shanthi Mahendran

Assessor (Adult Care)

I am a certified Nursing and Counselling trainer with 18+ years of nursing experience and 8 years in counselling and adult training. I hold a Bachelor's in Nursing Science and a Master's in Counselling from the University of Science Malaysia, and I'm registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board and the Malaysian Board of Counsellors. I'm also a HRD Corp-accredited trainer.

Haswiniysre Gopal

Assessor (Adult Care)

I have 8 years of experience in Adult & Elderly Care, holding a Diploma in Pharmacy (Masterskill University of Health Science), a Certification in Counselling and Psychology (Asian Pacific College), and a Certification in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Tahap III for Elderly Care. I am a Government-appointed Internal Verifier (Pegawai Pengesah Dalaman) for SKM.
